Pricing and payment

The basic price of the booking is set on the service. So normally a $10 service price will result in costing $10 to book.

However for booking for multiple people or a longer period the price will change.

Price per person

The total price will be the price of the service multiplied by the normal of people on the booking. So a booking for 5 people will result in costing $50 to book when the price of the service is set to $10.

Price per slot

The price of the service is the price for one slot. One slot is the duration of the service. You can allow a service to be booked for a longer period of time, or multiple slots. There is a setting which can limit the number of slots that can be booked. So if the duration is set to 60 minutes and the customer books for 3 hours it will result in costing $30 to book when the price of the service is set to $10.

Booking multiple slots and for multiple people

When booking for multiple people and multiple slots the cost of the booking is multiplied by both number of people and slots. So a 2 hour booking for 3 people will result in costing $60 when the price of the service is set to $10. That is 2 x $10 = $20 for booking 2 hours, and then 3 x $20 = $60 for booking 2 hours for 3 people.

Payment

MakePlans can accept payment for multiple payment processors. We recommend card payments with Stripe. In Scandinavia we also support Vipps for mobile payments. You can set a service to require a payment upon booking.
